Today I was given the REALLY REALLY EXCITING IMPORTANT SUPER COOL task of carrying a large rock down to the planning office.
Just wow, I learnt so much from it.
Sunday night, busy working away til the early hours
I thought this placement was supposed to be Mon-Fri, 9:00-5:30?
Screw you architecture.
Well I haven’t blogged properly in a while. This placement malarky sure does take up time, that and being a bit ill (long story)
So here’s a summary of placement so far

Should be available in every studio!

agreed
So I have now finished second year, all projects and coursework’s handed in (except one but that doesn’t count) exam done (it was okay, just okay).
I now have the task of finding a 3-6 month placement. This isn’t going well. 20 applications down and nothing. I’ve got more chance of winning the lottery than getting a job (and so I bought a lottery ticket today just in case)
SOOOOOO
Anybody want to hook me up with a Architect practice in the UK? That would be lovely thank you.
So this evening I finally start revising for my structures exam which is in 3 days (Let’s point out i’ve had countless pin ups/hand ins/ general crap in the way of revision prior to now)
Download all the lecture notes and realise I only went two 50% of the lectures.
Wish me luck.
